Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Follow these exact steps to get OnStream running smoothly on your Mac computer.
Step 1: Download the Emulator
First, you need to download an Android emulator. If you are on an Intel Mac, head over to the official BlueStacks website and download BlueStacks 4 for macOS. If you are on an Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) Mac, you will need to download Android Studio. Install the software by opening the .dmg file and dragging the application into your Applications folder.
Step 2: Complete Initial Setup & Bypass Gatekeeper
When you first launch the emulator, macOS will likely block it with a "System Extension Blocked" warning. Don't panic! Open your Mac's System Settings (or System Preferences), navigate to Privacy & Security, and click the "Allow" button next to the blocked software. You may be prompted to restart your Mac to finalize the extension installation.
Step 3: Download the OnStream APK
Use the download button at the top of this page to download the universal onstream.apk file. Save it to your Downloads folder or Desktop for easy access. Remember, because this is an Android application package, you cannot double-click to open it natively in macOS.
Step 4: Install the APK into the Emulator
Launch your emulator (e.g., BlueStacks). Once the Android home screen has fully loaded, simply drag and drop the onstream.apk file from your Mac's desktop directly into the emulator window. The emulator will automatically begin installing the application. Alternatively, you can click the "Install APK" button usually found in the emulator's sidebar menu and browse for the file manually.
